Our Batch Control (Batch Log) module is designed to
integrate with plant automation systems
(SCADA) to collect data where possible from
the systems. Some data may not be obtained
in an automated fashion, so we allow all data
fields to be entered manually in accordance
with a processing specification that is set up
and actively managed in the system. These
specifications are set up by equipment line
or, when necessary, by equipment/ product.
Operators can record critical control point
information, as well as amounts and lot numbers
of ingredients and processing aids used. As
operators provide information, we perform
validation of data and alert operators to take
corrective action when necessary.

- Batch Log allows flexible "rework" process where operators can go back to any step in the recipe and execute those steps again while capturing new data and improving quality.
- Batch Log alerts guide the operators along the execution of recipe steps and ensure high quality outcome.
- All operator alerts are fed to the Shift Leader Dashboard for a shift supervisor to be aware of the activity in each work center.
- Operators can provide comments and standardized reasons for deviations and delays to enable trend analysis for Lean/Six Sigma and any continuous improvment initiatives.
