Personnel Calendar Management
Shift schedules and attendance tracking for operators and technicians to ensure accountability and root-cause traceability.
What It Does
CAL is the scheduling backbone that answers who is working when — and makes that answer available to every module that depends on it. Group classifications set here determine which employees appear in the Shift Leader Dashboard's operator, shift lead, and lab panels; a change to group membership takes effect immediately across the platform.
Group-Based Resource Classification
Every calendar group carries role flags — Operator, Shift Leader, Lab Technician — that determine how its members appear in the Shift Leader Dashboard and which production metrics aggregate against their shifts. Eight Dashboard data views join through CalGroup membership to correlate personnel assignments with what was produced.
Visual Personnel Schedule
The personnel scheduler displays employees as resources and time as columns. Shift coordinators drag to create and move events, select recurrence patterns (daily, weekly, monthly), and classify each event by type — Work, Vacation, Sick, Floating Holiday, or Exception. Recurring series are stored as patterns and materialised per-occurrence.
PTO Summary Pivot
A cross-tabulated pivot grid shows planned absences across the workforce — Vacation, Sick, Floating Holidays, and exceptions — with drill-down from year to quarter to month. Scheduled days derive live from the personnel schedule; granted days are edited directly in the PTO editor per employee per year.
System Activity Schedule
A second scheduler — separate from personnel — provides a visual cron interface for background jobs, integration tasks, and production activity blocks. IT administrators create, recur, copy, and delete scheduled system activities without editing configuration files. Restriction event types mark no-work windows for specific activity resources.
